Things are getting better at work. I'm gradually getting used to getting up early mornings and sitting at a desk all day! Joseph's giving me more responsibilities and I guess I'm doing quite ok. I've already written several business letters and sent them to our British partners and also called several companies in Iran. We close Thursdays and Fridays and so I can't wait for the end of today!

Today's the second day at my new job. Way better than yesterday! I was totally confused yesterday and felt so miserable. But I've been looking through the archives on the computer and am starting to make sense of it all. Let me introduce my co-workers. My manager's name is Youssef that I'd like to call Joseph on my blogs and the secretary is Ms. Gharibi which I will be calling Ms. Weirdo! (Just translating! No offense!) Shoot! Something came up! Gotta go!

Today's a turning point in my life. I've got a new job working in a high-profile company. I'm writing this at my desk. Better stop though, it's my first day!

Well... shit happens! But why did so much of it happen to me all at the same time? My father's got a bad flu, my mom's thumbs are numb, my sister's got more depressed than she's ever been, my SIM card's out of order, my computer stopped working yesterday, my car's got electricity problems and I broke a tooth yesterday eating nuts! In fact, the only cool thing in my life is that I finished SNAKES on Sara's cell phone! "Few others have come this far into the space between all matter!" This is the compliment I was given by SNAKES when it ended!

I've been in quite a crappy mood lately. I haven't been so down in ages. Having said that, me and my friends Safa and Big Ham threw a surprise birthday party for Sara in one of the cottages of Chitgar Park. We decorated the cottage with coloured papers and balloons and wrote Sara's name on one of the pillars. She was so surprised as we casually walked toward the cottage. It was like the most beautiful day ever. We took pictures, but they're in Big Ham's camera, so I'm gonna put them here later. By the way, my computer is attacked by viruses and spywares and I'm having trouble with everything. I couldn't even change the font for this entry!

We went to Arikeh Iranian complex tonight for the first time. Well... second time for me actually, cause Hamed Slasher showed me the place the first time. (He reads this entry, so I can't lie!) It's got a gym, a swimming pool, a mall and a movie theater and it's still developing. With Cinema Azadi in Abbasabad, we now have two really cool movie theaters nearby.

Now I really don't know what to write about. All I know is my ADSL is gonna be over any minute and I wanna use the very last of it! The weather is amazing here in Tehran and the sun is yet pleasant! I met Hamed Slasher today who's just got back from a vacation in Turkey. He's got all tanned and looks hotter to girls I guess! He's done all sorts of crazy (and on some level "dirty") stuff in Turkey that I'm not gonna talk about here! Safaneh's got back from a trip in Mashhad which she refers to as "F"! Damien spent a week in Kish island and got back only yesterday. He says the trip couldn't be better! Big Ham got a short haircut a few days ago which looks really good on him. Sara's gonna take French again at Kish and I'm starting my Farhikhtegan classes next week. That's pretty much what's going on in our lives! Ok! You can cut my ADSL now!

Hamed Y came over to our place yesterday morning and told us about an underground nightclub he knew in Tehran. He said he was invited in the afternoon and we could join him if we wanted to and God! We wanted to! I had the most exciting night of my life in there. It was obviously not a nightclub in the common sense of the word, it was rather a house situated in a huge garden distant enough from local streets. There was music, dance, food and drinks of all kind. Not that we drank, Sara and I don't drink, but it was shocking for me to see all kinds of alcoholics were actually available in Iran. I took loads of pictures and videos. Here is one of my favorite ones. The red area in the picture is where the DJ and breakdancers were.
