My new job is fucking my mind. All I can think about is Pro Formas, Enquiries, Offers, Samples and Invoices. Everyday, I go from cool and high spirited in the morning to totally fucked up in the afternoon. Now that I'm writing this, it's an afternoon, so you can imagine what the entry's gonna be like!
We went to the movies twice in the last two weeks. We watched an Iranian movie "Zan Ha Fereshte-and!" which I thought I was gonna hate, but made me laugh my a** off! And last night, we went to Cinema Farhang to watch Micheal Moore's Sicko, the famous documentary on health insurance in America. It was amazing! Watch it! Well, since my entry is taking the form of a ridiculously boring peace of a diary, I'm also gonna add that I bought my favorie Cologne last week, Ambré. And that the storm knocked our satellite dish down and we have to watch Imam Khomeini for the upcoming holidays!
Ok! I'm gonna leave the company and all the mess I created here behind and head home! Ciao!

This is a picture of me and my family.
From left to right: My grandma, my dad, me, my sister and my mum.
We went to the diplomatic restaurant in Ozgol Thursday evening. We took pictures (Sara's taking this one!) and then had dinner. Here's the corniest sentence you've ever heard: I love my family!

Dear Job,
Even though we have only been together for a week, the time we had together was just amazing. I know sometimes my boss gives me too much of you, but I have to admit that it gives me great pleasure everytime I do you! Job! I love you! I wanna grow old with you! Will you marry me?

For today, I have a joke that I thought was hilarious...
Gynecologist's Assistant Job Opportunity
A man goes into the Job Center in Jacksonville, Florida, and sees a card advertising for a Gynecologist's Assistant. Interested he goes to learn more -
'Can you give me some more details about this?' he asks the guy behind the desk. The Job Center man sorts through his files and replies -
'Oh yes here it is: The job requires you to prepare female patients for gynecological exam. You may be required to assist the patient out of her underwear, help her onto the table. If it is required, you may be instructed to gently wash, carefully shave, and then apply soothing oils to her genitals. There's an annual salary of $45,000, but you're going to have to go to Oxford, Mississippi. That's about 620 miles from here.'
'Oh why, is that where the job is at?'
'No sir - that's where the end of the line is!'

I just got this picture bluetoothed to me by Joseph!
From left to right: my sis, my dad, Joseph and me!
Yes! It was taken in Madrid around 15 years ago. He was on a business trip in Spain and he stayed with us for the time he was there. He's very kind and friendly and we had a great time together. I remember one day I took him around the city. We took a bus and went to Madrid Dos which is a huge mall. I remember he bought really cool toys for his children back in Iran and I was juuust a little bit jealous!
By the look on his face in this picture, I can easily tell he had plans for me from before!

This is a picture of my workplace. You can see my monitor (which displays Yahoo 360 if you look closely!). On my desk, I have many things. I have a stapler, a calculator, markers, envelopes and other things that I never really use! The bright room is Joseph's. He calls out to me from time to time and asks me to write e-mails to either Tony, Nick or Warwick (These are the guys at Wardel Chemicals which we are partners with) or to our customers in Iran.
Today is a Sunday and we have very little work. When there is nothing to do, I either play Solitaire or watch porn! (kidding!)

Things are getting better at work. I'm gradually getting used to getting up early mornings and sitting at a desk all day! Joseph's giving me more responsibilities and I guess I'm doing quite ok. I've already written several business letters and sent them to our British partners and also called several companies in Iran. We close Thursdays and Fridays and so I can't wait for the end of today!

Today's the second day at my new job. Way better than yesterday! I was totally confused yesterday and felt so miserable. But I've been looking through the archives on the computer and am starting to make sense of it all. Let me introduce my co-workers. My manager's name is Youssef that I'd like to call Joseph on my blogs and the secretary is Ms. Gharibi which I will be calling Ms. Weirdo! (Just translating! No offense!) Shoot! Something came up! Gotta go!

Today's a turning point in my life. I've got a new job working in a high-profile company. I'm writing this at my desk. Better stop though, it's my first day!

Well... shit happens! But why did so much of it happen to me all at the same time? My father's got a bad flu, my mom's thumbs are numb, my sister's got more depressed than she's ever been, my SIM card's out of order, my computer stopped working yesterday, my car's got electricity problems and I broke a tooth yesterday eating nuts! In fact, the only cool thing in my life is that I finished SNAKES on Sara's cell phone!
"Few others have come this far into the space between all matter!" This is the compliment I was given by SNAKES when it ended!
