Digital Arts

I took this picture in the 'exhibition of digital media' in Tehran. The guy would draw portraits using photoshop and a tablet pen!

RIP

Here's a poem that I wrote years ago and never liked so much as I do today:

A man,

Walks alone,

Down the road,

Toward a structure made of stone,

He calls home.

Bolts the windows, locks the doors,

Shuts the shutters,

Shuts them tight,

No stranger may intrude,

Into the night,

Not a breeze,

Not a single beam of light,

Not a face,

Not a face,

“How splendid is my absolute privacy!”

Is what he says,

As he goes to lie in what he calls

A bed!

Lies to rest,

Shuts his eyes.

--

Shut your eyes,

Lie in comfort,

Rest in peace,

Have your absolutely private

Dark dreadful deadly dreams!

Rosha's Hide-Out

Today, i finally located Rosha's hiding place when she went to drop another one of her pencils in it! I think the picture tells the story. I will again be wearing my watch after a long time! :D

In Process!

It's about one year now that our immigration case has been opened and still no news of medical forms; though I can't say I'm expecting them any time soon either. I know of many applicants who opened their cases up to one month prior to us and they haven't reached the medical stage either. So we keep a-waiting! :D

Today, I heard good news from our friend Parvaneh (a.k.a. Papillon Iranien!) who's also applying for Quebec immigration. she'd first sent her forms more than a year ago, but was then asked to add a french language certificate to it; so she took a TCF-Q test and submitted the results. Today and after two months, her lawyer called to say she's been invited for the interview. So Parvaneh is on her way to Damascus, good luck girl!
